Throughout her involvement with Penn State and external work opportunities, Vivian has had the opportunity to acquire a breadth of experience across multiple sectors. During her time at Seaside Sustainability, she has ideated articles on environmental justice and urban environmental conflicts, drafted blog posts for the Climate Change Newsletter, and conducted research on the effects of climate change upon underserved and underrepresented communities. STV Inc. offered Vivian the unique chance to obtain on-site field work, where she conducted wetland delineations, soil sampling, and oversight of remediation projects. This also included the drafting and execution of environmental assessments and impact statements for the sites visited. During her senior year at Penn State, Vivian served as a research assistant for the State College Community Land Trust with the goal of increasing affordable housing in the State College area. She additionally served as a Content Director for State of State where she managed prospective speakers for an annual spring conference, the Exam Chair for Lion Ambassadors which consisted of creating the entrance exam for the upcoming 2024 class, and the Sustainability Chair for her THON committee which constituted the waste management of all internal and external events.

Vivian is a current Environmental Scientist/GIS I at Cedarville Engineering Group, LLC where she engages in a variety of projects around the United States focused on environmental consulting and compliance. She is proud to share that all of her current and future pursuits will be maintained under the influence of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a special emphasis on Climate Action, Peace, Life on Land, and Justice, & Strong Institutions.
